Filipino Basketball: The Gathering

Tired of the expansion sets they've come up with for the past few years, Wizards Of The Coast fired back with a Magic: The Gathering spin-off based on the deep and engaging world of Filipino basketball.
"Yes, it's true. The Magic: The Gathering franchise has been beaten dry already with expansion sets featuring weaker rehashes of old cards, so we thought about moving on. And what better way to start than basing your next set on the vast, colorful world of Filipino basketball?" said a very enthusiastic Jacob Rayner, head of WotC's marketing department.
Even game creator Richard Garfield can no longer contain his joy and excitement.
"I've always wanted to incorporate Filipinos into our [CCG], but had second thoughts after contemplating the disaster it could've been. But having seen the impact Jasmine Trias created and how the Philippine media blows anything mundane as long as it has a shred of Filipino in it, I figured that this would be a wise move on a marketing and eventually, financial standpoint, regardless of whether or not it bombs locally."
The CCG giant then wasted no time showing some of the cards they've come up with, and only the 15th Parallel has access to this exclusive insider material!
