Twice led his team in scoring (16 pts, 6/6 fts vs CSB, 8/11; 19 pts vs CSJL, 8/15) plus complimentary stats (7 rebs vs CSB; 9 rebs, 2 blks vs CSJL), nobody else came close in having the best two-game performance this week. This is Sena applying the STFU hold on everybody else. Money, money, yeah, yeah.

Sam Ekwe (SBC) - For three games now, Ekwe has led the Lions in scoring (22 pts vs PCU, 8/11; 14 pts vs MIT, 8/15). This is unusual for someone who is more known for dominating the boards (14 rpg last week) and physical defensive presence (3 bpg last week).

(1) Jason Ballesteros (SSCR) - In the travesty called the Stags-Altas game (8/13), Ballesteros kept the crowd alive with his dunks, the alley-oop two-handed jam in the fourth quarter serving as the icing in a game well-played (12 pts, 15 rebs, 3 blks) at least for him. And would you believe somebody actually played well for the Las Piñas-based squad (Raffy Ynion - 11 pts, 4/4 fgs, 6 rebs vs SSCR, 8/13)?

Kelvin dela Peña (MIT) - KdP just typified that you can not put a good man down. Although he claimed he was only 80% healthy prior to gametime last week (vs SBC, 8/13), he had 12 pts, 12 rebs, 3 asts, 2 stls. Why, that was the reason he was the MVP last year.

John Melegrito (CSJL) - Melegrito had a career half against the Bombers (8/15), shooting six-three pointers in the first 20 minutes. He finished with 24 pts, 7/9 3pts, 5 rebs, 5 asts.

Marc Cagoco (JRU) - Talk about consistency and Cagoco would be the last person you would be discussing. But going 16 ppg on 50% 3pts last week and adding some other numbers (3 asts, 3 stls vs CSB, 8/11; 4 rebs vs CSJL, 8/15), the "Super Saiyan" is no longer a liability for the Bombers.

Marvin Hayes (JRU) - Against a weak team (vs CSB, 8/11), Hayes had weak stats (6 pts, 5 rebs, 2 asts, 1 stl, 1 blk). But what matters is what he did (11 pts, 13 rebs, 5 asts, 2 stls, 1 blk) in the game that counted more (vs CSJL, 8/15).

Neil Pascual (MIT) - Pascual, Neil = double-double (11 pts, 16 rebs, 2 blks vs SBC, 8/13). Since there are already three centers vying for Mythical Team honors (look above), can Pascual count as a forward instead? He gets contention since Mark Sarangay starts at center spot for the Cardinals.

Jeff Vidal (PCU) - Mark this down. Vidal is Dolphins men's basketball head coach Joel Dualan's "fourth wheel" (13.5 ppg, 6/14 3pts, 6 rpg, 2.5 apg, 2 spg last week). Then again, Beau Belga and Lei Mar Navarro notched DNP's for a variety of reasons last week, so somebody had to step up.

Marlon Gomez (PCU) - If the Dolphins decide to leave the NCAA for good, consider Gomez as scouted and recruited as early as now (15 pts, 11 rebs, 3 asts, 2 stls vs SBC, 8/11; 10 pts, 5 rebs vs CSB, 8/15). His energy is contagious.
