Quinito Henson Hello there, Quinito Henson here. Everyone's favorite and sought-after basketball do-it-all guy. For years I have served as Vanguard of the Sport, provider of information, an answerer of questions, a courtside bugle, and a world re-knowned author of intellectual, oftentimes hilariously inaccurate, dissertations worldwide. Now, I have brought my services to this web-site to bring you more of my "verbal fury", although I must tell you readers that I'm a little disappointed because if it weren't for my ability to hunt down (in layman's term: Google) top secret information, the existence of this web-site probably would've been lost to me. But the "Dean" bears no grudges! I only bear cutting-edge news reports the likes of which you have never seen, and that is what I'm about to go to right away! In this edition I will talk about the sorry state of the NBA:

What's this? Peja had a 4-17 game last night? Well, well, well, looks like it's time to break out the "trade rumors" bonanza again! My exclusive NBA insider has informed me that trade talks are percolating between Sacramento and New Orleans -- a swap involving Peja and the disgruntled Baron Davis. When this trade goes through, Baron returns to the Sunshine state where he grew and he can continue directing movies about a black guy that hotwires cars and sells them to an evil hispanic drug syndicate, while Peja gets moved to another team, as per his wishes. I'm aware that it doesn't make sense, but trade ideas with 6-degree themes entertain me like no other! Besides, coming up with different articles 4 times a week is a very difficult task. That's why when someone underperforms, expect a trade scenario article from us tommorow. It's how we do things.

Off you go, Peja!Speaking of 6 degrees, the Miami Heat seem to be a lock for the 1st seed of the Playoffs, but don't count out the Houston Rockets yet because they are on a roll lately after a series of trades that netted them a collection of savvy veterans. Look for them to make a serious push for 1st in the West and arrange a Van Gundy bloodfeud (they are brothers, can't you tell???) and a Shaq-Yao tussle. Many Filipinos will watch this series if it happens because Filipinos possess Asian pride and are very "hardcore", "rabid" and "up-to-date" when it comes to basketball.

Oh my, it's really hot and humid today and I'm starting to sweat like a patron at the Blue Eagle Gym. I better remove my coat... oops, what is this? It appears I am wearing a Phoenix Suns jersey which happens to be my favorite team since I was a toddler! They will go all the way just as I predicted before the season started while I've always thought the Lakers are mediocre and the T-Wolves are going down. Nash for MVP!

It looks like The Mailman is weighing more on the decision of retiring rather than returning according to his agent. Among the teams interested in acquiring his services are Phoenix, San Antonio and Minnesota... but there are talks that he might consider going to Golden State. This reunites Karl Malone's Filipina wife with her compatriots because the Bay Area has a huge Filipino community *zing*!

And lastly, the winner of last week's trivia question "What is Dirk's nationality" is Joey of Sampaloc. I didn't know how he got that one, but we're sending him a limited edition meteor ball that grips like a contour for getting the right answer. It's not out in the market yet, so if you own one, if I did my math correctly, that's equal to +15 pogi points. Google failed me! :(
